The Noku Canvas is a self-watering greenwall for the home. It allows anyone to create a mini forest in their home and leverage the immense mental benefits of nature.
My 3 housemates and I launched this project straight after university ended. We had spent the final year of uni developing the Noku Canvas as part of a business module we were taking, and were all focused on making it real right from the start. I Led the marketing, finance, and graphic design. I aided in product design, prototyping via 3D printing, user testing, user interviews, website design, photography & videography, and much more. I gained a vast amount of experience and confidence during this project. We are in the final stages of manufacturing the 6000 units of the first batch and have automated almost every aspect of the business so that it can run with minimal input.
We developed the Noku Canvas in lockdown, 3D printing prototypes in our living room. I loved every second of it!
